Whitehead Elementary

Dear Parents,

Here at Whitehead Elementary we are very proud of our library. We want to encourage your child to read and grow and we hope you will as well. Your child will soon begin weekly class visits to the library and I’d like to go over a few things to make you aware of our library procedures and policies, as well as a few upcoming events.

Library Policies and Procedures

TK-2nd grade are allowed to check out 1 book per visit (Typically TK-2nd do not take their library books home. They stay in their classrooms); 3rd-6th check out 2 books per visit. Children must return their books each week in order to check out new books.

We have many new selections and in order to keep them in good condition we are asking parents to help their children in taking care of our books. Please remember both children and parents are responsible for returning the books on time and in good condition. If a child damages or loses a book, there will be charges. Those charges will vary, due to different retail prices.

Estimados padres de familia,

aquí en la escuela primaria de Whitehead nos sentimos orgullosos de nuestra biblioteca. Queremos animar a su niño a leer y a crecer y la esperanza de que será así. Su hijo pronto comenzará semanal clase visitas a la biblioteca y me gustaría hacerte consciente de nuestra biblioteca de procedimientos y políticas, así como algunos eventos.

Biblioteca de políticas y procedimientos

TK-2 se permite 1 libro por visita (típicamente TK-2nd no tome sus libros caseros.); 3-6, se permiten 2 libros por visita. Los niños deben devolver sus libros cada semana para conseguir nuevos libros. Tenemos muchas nuevas selecciones y para mantenerlos en buen estado estamos pidiendo a los padres ayudar a sus hijos en el cuidado de nuestros libros. Por favor recuerde que los niños y los padres son responsables de devolver los libros a tiempo y en buenas condiciones. Si un libro está dañado o perdido, habrá cargos. Los cargos varían debido a diversos precios.

Aquí es a un año de la lectura y el aprendizaje.
